In 2014, Hanson embarked on a $9.1M upgrade of the Red Hill Quarry, in Red Hill, WA, including electrical, civil and mechanical works to supply and install a new crusher and associated conveyors to the quarry. Precept Services won the electrical and process control contract due to our recognised ability to achieve key targets combined with our competitive offer.
Praised for a pro-active approach to adapt to challenges and still maintain timelines; a high level of integration with the quarry staff and other trades on the project; and exemplary OH&S practices, Precept Services undertook:
- Electrical engineering for the upgrade
- Construction of a new switchboard
- Installation of new plant including crusher and conveyors
- Electrical interface of the new plant with existing plant and control system
- Process control of the upgraded plant
- Supply, installation and commissioning of all electrical works
